Joann Head
Joann was instrumental in helping with the design and fit of the wigs and she was extremely passionate about Strong Like Me’s mission.
In 2017 she underwent chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant to fight a rare mitochondrial disease, MNGIE. Joann, also known as JoJo, was a true force of nature. Fun, loving and spirited. She remained forever brave and was at peace in the end.
